Window to Lisboa III

Leuk ingericht, koelkast aanwezig in keukentje, zeer centrale locatie! Kregen praktische tips van de vriendelijke verhuurder. Prima locatie voor drie volwassenen.

Smallere bed had een hard matras, airco vraagt om een open raam maar dat is ivm geluid 's nachts niet handig (wij hadden geluk met aangename temperatuur) het is een gezellige maar luidruchtige buurt (met oordopjes geen last). Douchecabine is vrij smal.

Great location

Bathroom is a bit small but for the money it was ok. AC was a portable one, but there was no hose to send the hot air outside. I wish there was the hose to keep the hot air out. That's my only complaint.

Nice place, very good location

The location was amazing, right in the heart of Lisbon, we could easily walk every where we wanted to go. Antonio was an incredible host, He picked us up at the airport and gave us some incredible advice for places to eat, to go and where to rent our car for the next portion of our trip. He even gave us great advice while we were staying in another part of Portugal and he always responded promptly. His help was invaluable and made our entire stay in Portugal (Not just while we were in Lisbon) so smooth. Couldn't recommend him more.

It is located on a lively street, the noise didn't bother us a bit but might bother very light sleepers.

The location is amazing. It is downtown and in a touristy area, and easy to walk everywhere. The area is like San Francisco with lots of hills and steep steps. The neighborhood is very charming but you need to have good shoes and ready to climb a lot (not for those in wheelchairs). Quaint trams are available. It is in an area with lots of nightlife and activity. I never felt unsafe walking day or night. Many restaurant options nearby. Antonio was a really great host even though I never met him in person. He had sent me very detailed instructions on how to get the keys from the lockbox that is right outside the building door. When there was a problem - and I did have issues - he reacted immediately and tried to solve the problems without delay. The apartment has everything you need. The TV had international channels. The kitchen is small but well-equipped with a single cooker, microwave, fridge, pots and pans, plates, and plenty of utensils. The bed in the main living area is very comfortable but it seems that the bed in the small bedroom is a bit lumpy. It is a charming small apartment and I really felt like I was living like a local the entire week I was there, including the nuances. Wifi was good and strong.

The steps to the apartment are steep. It is not for those who cannot climb 2 short flights of stairs or if you plan to have lots of heavy suitcases. There were power shortages when I was there, but Antonio reacted immediately each time. There was an electrician arriving the day I left so hopefully this is now resolved. Do ask about this. As other reviewers have said, it is located above 2 busy bars so the area is extremely loud and noisy at night but the double-glazed windows shut out most (but not all) of the noise and vibration. Not for light sleepers sensitive to noise.

Daily Power Trips throughout our stay, during showering especially, luggages, had to be carried up a flight of steep stairs, washing machine was not working and without any warning. Toilet bowl was wobbly and could break anytime. There was no Aircon and we had to open the window, Surrounding Pubs and clubs were noisy until 4AM. And the owner only provided lip services. Slanted flooring making it easy to trip and fall. Given photos on booking.com did not match the current state of the place. Did not feel like coming back to stay every night.

The location is in a good area. Very close to metros and Rossio station. The host Antonio exceeded expectations.

Maybe some renovations in the apartment!
