Cosy flat in Alnwick

Great location and lovely flat. Kitchen is very well equipped, beds and sofa very comfy and whole place was very warm with heating that was easy to control.

The hall and stairwell leading up to the property (which is on the second floor) were very bare and unwelcoming with a stained carpet. I realise that the flat owner can’t help this but it doesn’t create a good impression.

Tv seems to be linked to somebody's front door cam which kept beaming live pictures onto the TV screen. More entertaining than the TV prog though as steady stream of Halloween trick or treaters. Access stairs might not suit everybody.

Stylish, characterful, clean, comfortable and warm. A real home from home. Everything we needed for our stay, great location to the town centre.

The communal areas outside the flat are basic but clean

Location was fab , flat was clean & well equiped , we used heating as flat is drafty , overall we had a great stay .

On a bus route and road noisey early in the morning , hose kept falling off shower & drafty , although heating was easy to use .

Host was easy to communicate with. Very clean and comfortable and excellent location.

Slight problem with the travel cot and living room light was faulty

Perfect location for us. Easy to walk to restaurants, Barter Books, the castle and gardens.

Everything was good though the sink in the bathroom doesn't drain well ( something the owner is probably unaware of?)

Lovely bright, clean well equipped flat. Great location. Had a lovely stay.

Only thing (but wouldn't stop me rebooking in summer at least) were the old windows. Drafty and single glazed so not very good at keeping road noise out. Not sure how warm the flat would be in winter.
