Penthouse Apartment Arundel

Location is good right across from station, bright and colourful and clean, good communication with host, wish I could of stayed longer.

Nothing to dislike

The location was good for the A27 and the station. The apartment was clean and modern.

The location was not so good for the town. It was quite a walk. The noise from the main road, and sometimes the railway, was also a problem. When the express train came through the shockwave made the building shake. There was no overhead shower so we had to use the hand-held shower head. This was cumbersome. There were two bedrooms but only beds for three people (a double and a single).

Very clean and tidy, great cooking facilities, beds were great, all round brilliant stay.

Can’t fault it

The apartment was very clean, beautifully decorated and very cosy. Spend a night away with my sister and had a very relaxing stay. Very good location.

The location is fantastic and the bedrooms are really nice and the mattresses were very comfortable

The sinks were not deep enough but it wasn’t a major issue we just had them squirt us multiple times apart from that it was really good

Great location, very big and clean apartment

What is there not to like, every thing was need and clean ,decorating and placing of furniture, coffee machine in kitchen where a nice touch, my wife enjoyed the big bath, will definitely come back here to stay again.

The stairs....

The sofa and the living area were great. The kitchen was just okay (details below). The bathroom was great, except for the toilet (details below). Bedroom was great except for the window (details below).

The front door lock to the actual building is extremely temperamental and we got locked out twice. It needs a lot of fiddling around to get it to work. Unfortunately I think I worked out the back, just as we were leaving. It's a pain. The toilet flush is temperamental, which is embarrassing. On day two, I couldn't flush the toilet for a few hours. I don't know if the cistern was empty? Either way, it needs sorting. Also, please fix the toilet seat. It's wonky. The fridge door doesn't shut, which means the milk in there was smelly. The only way to shut the fridge door is to lift it up and use brute force, which isn't good enough. It needs sorting. The pull-down blind for the Velux window in the main bedroom doesn't stay closed. Which means the room was filled with daylight at 5am. It needs sorting. There are no cleaning products. No spray to wipe the kitchen sides with and no bleach for the toilet. There is no salt and pepper, which means we had to go and buy some. It's hardly a big expense but I think for the price of the apartment there should be some. Why is there a very cheap supermarket coffee provided, but no tea? Also, the sugar pot hasn't been filled for a long time. Does anyone check? I was surprised by the lack of toiletries, which means on day 2 I had to go to the Co-op and buy shower-gel and shampoo. For the cost of the apartment, I definitely expected small bottles of these things.
