great location, great price, no frills, just everything you need. A storm and seaweed made the beach unswimmable, so the pool was nice to have in the morning!

Noisy, but they give you a big fan to drown out the sound. WiFi not good, but that’s an island-wide problem.

Perfect location! walking distance to EVERYTHING; shops, restaurants and most importantly the beach. Saved on having to rent a gulf cart. ***It was only when we upgraded to one of their 2 suites that we were comfortable as ONLY the suites have air conditioning, a comfortable queen mattress and hot water for your showers.

In the regular room rentals (Not a suite) there is a small full size old worn out and very uncomfortable bed with no AC and no hot water in the shower. The electrical plugs were worn out and would not hold our chargers in to charge our phones. There was no running water at times which was horrible when your trying to flush the toilet or shower after a salty sweaty day at the beach. The pool was taped off as they said there was no water, and they were bringing some in. The receptionist takes off throughout the day, and it was extremely hard for me to contact anyone at the hotel, and when I finally did, she said oh, there’s a bell you could ring there way at top as she was doing her best to unwrap the rope attached to the bell that is used to ring it. This small town is doing its best to manage the amount of people that are visiting HolBox but it just doesn’t have the electrical capacity nor the water pressure to cater to so many tourist. BUT somehow when we upgraded to a suite, the room did have an electrical water heater you had to manually turn on to get warm water to shower, good water pressure and air conditioning.

very close to the beach and the centre of events in the evening:) shops and great restaurants just round the corner. very nice personel, provided us with everything. highly recommended!

The location. Beach around the corner and everything in walking distance ☺️. And it was clean.

It’s super noisy, in the night there’s a lot of music and people talking until the late hours. Couldnt sleep well. The pool isn’t very inviting, nor is the reception. There’s no lobby so the hotel is good to only sleep and take a (mostly cold) shower. But that’s enough for here. Holbox is great.
