Die direkte Lage am Fluß.

Gebucht hatte ich ein Zimmer wie auf den Fotos! Bekommen habe ich einen in die Jahre gekommenen, kleinen Bungalow aus Holz und nur die Toilette war gemauert! Daran gemessen: schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Clean , comfortable and friendly, nice to have a natural swimming pool too, it was a lovely place to relax

De river lodge is een fraai gelegen hotel aan zoals de naam al zegt, de rivier. In de ochtend hoor je de gibbons zingen. Dichtbij is de pont naar het park. In het restaurant is het eten lekker en koffie in de koffiebar. Er is een verfrissend zwembad. De receptie heeft een lijst met trekkings voor het park en ze boeken het meteen. Er loopt dan iemand mee naar het startpunt.

Er is geen cocktail bar. Er wordt hard gewerkt aan nieuwe lodge.

Good value for money. Friendly staff. Nice river views. The mattress was a bit hard but comfortable.

The place feels like a tourist complex, with several hotels and bungalows merged together, so it lacks a homey atmosphere. Breakfast options for vegans are extremely limited and honestly disappointing (although not so bad for lunch and dinner). Coffee isn’t included; instead, you have to buy it from a café in the middle of the complex. It's served in disposable cups (same goes for juice and other drinks), though you can request a glass if you insist. What really bothered me, though, was seeing a staff member clean my table and then deliberately flick a cigarette butt into the river. It was a small but telling action, a clear reflection of the place’s total lack of environmental awareness. Sadly, there seem to be zero sustainability efforts here, despite being located in one of the last remaining natural patches in Vietnam. On Saturday, the place gets packed with local tourists with no apparent noise restrictions whatsoever.

plumbing did not work for entire stay. could not shower. This may not be an issue of the premise as fairly remote, but still we could not shower or clean ourselves.

Really close to the National park entrance and ferry point .. you can hear the gibbons singing in the mornings which was pretty cool! We even found a lovely frog in our toilet one night and he spent the night sitting on the towel rail .. very cute! Loved our stay here

Nothing we had a lovely time.

Our terrace was fantastic - great views of the river, and shade! We could hear singing gibbons in the morning (and sometimes, at night, too). It's a 3-4 min. walk to the national park entrance. Water cooler/dispenser in the room - no need to buy water. Excellent restaurant (at Green Bamboo) + very helpful staff: we booked an early morning boat tour with them which was a true highlight.

No blackout curtains so the room got light very early - and it was light at night, too, because the bright outside lights were on nearly the whole night. No shower cabin or curtain - every shower resulted in a very wet bathroom. The closet and cabinets smelled musty. A bit hard to find because there's no sign at the property - you need to check-in at Green Bamboo, which is just past the property.
