Studio Roko in Split

Good location, close to port and bus station and historical city center. It was a 2 space studio comfortable for 2-3 people. Host was answering quick to any question and also provide a direct phone for quick contact.

As the studio is in ground floor there is a lot of humidity inside and mold in the walls and bathroom. Also there was a bad smell in the bathroom which was very small. Sheets and towels were ok and clean. Too much noise all day.

Location was close to the harbour. Everything was within walking distance and there were some shops nearby. The host also answered in a timely manner.

The studio was extremely dirty. When we came in the air was moist and smelled bad, it was very warm too. We tried opening the windows, one of them doesn't open and the other opens with difficulty. There were green spinach-like spots on one of the bedsheets. The bathroom smelled bad and there was a lot of limescale on the showerhead, besides that the toilet paper was moist because of the damp air. Worst of all were the cooking utensils and tableware, they were all greasy and dirty. The pots and pans still had yellowish liquid in them which we assumed were either residuals from the previous guests or mold. It seems that the host hadn't cleaned the place since the last guests or even longer. One of the beds was very hard and the blanket was simply a thin bed sheet. Lastly, despite the location being good, there was a lot of noise from outside. The walls were very thin, so whenever a group of people walked by you could hear them talking. The sound of people talking loudly on the streets would go on til about 2 or 3 am and then at around 7 am cars/garbage trucks would drive by.

Small hot water tank, mattress was uncomfortable, and needed more towels.

Close to the Diocletian Palace and the city centre. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The host was really kind

Cozy and accessible to city easily

The location is good if you want to spend most of your time outside. Very close to the old city, bus stops, ferry port. Good accommodation for a short stay.

The bed was uncomfortable. There’s much noise at night, bad sound insulation. The sink and shower are small.

Loved the location and host was lovely - let us check in late due to flight time and helped us arrange airport transfer.

No tea towels for kitchen, volume on TV was a bit funny
