It was a very nice stay and the accommodation was comfortable. The area is beautiful and there is enough to do, but also relax. I'll definitely visit Witsand again and the Breede River Lodge offers everything you need.

The braai facilities aren't at the unit, so it's a bit uncomfortable if you want to braai, but there are good restaurants in the area.

Very nice and cosy

Not that we used it, but we only found the hob where it was 'hidden away' under a counter that doubled up as a coffee station on the morning of our last day. The aircon was not working.
