Clean room Close to city centre

There was no view as we expected from the photos We paid for a deluxe room but we are not sure it was We had no hot water the second day

Good location, new and very clean apartment, host was lovely

The fact that they are building next door so it becomes noisy early in the morning

It was very clean and every thing was new

It was relatively easy to find an on-street parking spot, probably because most folks don't want to park on the steep street. The property is a 10ish minute walk from the old city center. A supermarket is 30m away.

I do not recommend you book this property until the next-door apartment building is completed. Probably sometime in 2026. Or if you leave the apartment before 9:00 AM and only return after 17:00. Otherwise you will "benefit" from the sound of hammers, drills, and other extremely noisy construction equipment that will feel like it is in the same room with you due to the poor quality of the building and paper-thin walls. Also, the apartment we booked had a balcony but the view was towards an extremely close balcony...which of course...was under construction. This detail was obscured by the very well-done photos of the apartment, making it seem much larger than it actually is.

The flat was very nice and well equipped. The kitchen was a huge plus and we really appreciated the fact they provided things like a laundry detergent pod, olive oil, a big bottle of water in the fridge. The location was good, we could easily walk to the old town, go shopping (literally 10 meters away there’s a supermarket) and take a longer walk to the beach (20 ish minutes)

I found the bed a bit hard but that’s a personal preference and my husband found it fine.

Apartment is perfect. Its spotless clean. It has a bedroom, living room with a kitchen, bathroom and a huge balcony. Its fully operated apartment for living. Location is good, only 8-10 min walk to city center. Regarding parking, in September there was always a spot right outside of the building, as well as in a streets around. Hosts are really nice, everything was arranged trough messages. Will come again for sure.

We always managed to find a parking spot around the apartment. Considering how difficult the parking in Rethymno is, this was a huge advantage. The apartment was a 15-min walk from Rethymno old town. There was a supermarket right in from of it, which was really convenient. The area was quiet and it was easy to enter and exit the city, without getting stuck in traffic. The apartment is located in a new building and was newly furnished. The mattresses and the pillows were comfortable.

There was air-conditioning only in the living room and not in the bedroom. There was a ceiling fan in it, but it was insufficient, so we had to sleep with an open door. If you're a larger group, this will affect your privacy. The electricity was turned on with the door key, but apparently this also affected the washing machine and perhaps the refrigerator, so they would torn off any time we left the apartment. The mattress frame broke in the first night of our stay, but the host was very cooperative and arranged its repair the next day.
