Kitchen facilities. High Internet speed.

Carpet gripper rod on stairs protruding through the carpet into my feet. Doorway carpet strip screws sticking up causing injury to heel of foot when stepped on. Bathroom mouldy with peeling wallpaper and extensive mould in the grout of the shower. House smelt mouldy when first entered. The bathroom unit at end shower is falling apart - screws and edging strips undone. No shower gel or shampoo in the dispenser in the shower. Lots of debris and dust under the beds. Sofa in living room full of detritus under cushions. Cutlery is worn out and coming apart, exposing rusty metal parts.

Location. Reasonable amount of space. White goods were to a good standard on the whole. Double glazing and heating were effective.

Apparently no Gas Safety Certificate-no valid one available during the whole week despite our request on Day One. This polite enquiry was never resolved or actioned; we felt less-than-safe. The only legible Gas Safety ‘Certificate’ was dated in 2022 and was not signed by any contractor. Apparently: - no valid Legionella Report/Review - no valid Fire Risk Assessment/Review - Public Liability Insurance had expired. The means of extinguishing a fire in the kitchen were a Fire Blanket and an aerosol spray but that spray can appeared to have an expiry date in 2020. There was a potentially dangerous sharp edge in bathroom - the height of a child’s face so a risk to eyes. Very nasty stained loo brush-looked as if it had been in use for a long time. Bathroom sink - water sluggish in running away; this was reported on Day One; no action had been taken before we left at the end of the week. We found the beds uncomfortable and one of the mattresses was damaged on arrival. No working tin opener. Poor quality cutlery; one knife fell to pieces. Microwave too small to take a dinner plate. Insufficient cookware - only one modest-sized casserole dish, no measuring jug. Outside: The garden furniture could not be used. It was basically rusty, damaged e.g. the table should have had a glass top but there was no top at all and overall the appearance was a heap of debris that hadn’t been touched, or checked, for a long time. This was reported on Day One but no action had been taken before we left at the end of the week. There were insufficient instructions about rubbish disposal as regards to what bins would be collected on the Sunday; the instructions gave the impression that ALL bins had to be taken through to the front garden area: this we did BUT: - the garden and food waste bin was extremely heavy - almost impossible to move - only one bin was emptied by the standard collection.

good location for the airport good quality fixtures and fitting within the property parking right outside on the drive quite and clean area would book again
