Vom Vom Garden House

The owners were very nice....the place was lush with vegetation..so peacel and tranquil....

We did not meet the owner but her mother was a gem! Very friendly and helpful! The gardens are beautiful and really make the place and apparently her mother does all the gardening! Lovely natural surroundings!

There are only 3 rooms but our room had a bed that was on a wooden plinth quite low on the floor. Had we known that we would probably not have booked that room as being mature in years, we found it quite uncomfortable to sleep so low on the floor. Younger people would probably not have any problem at all!

Literally the best homestay I have stayed in. The room faces the garden, and the morning light of the sun makes everything look so amazing from the video. It's located beautifully between Danang and Hoi An, in close proximity to both. The lady is the best, she is like a grandmother who takes care of you, the rooms are extremely clean and hygienic, you also get access to a kitchen in case you need it. Overall, a peaceful stay with everything beyond our expectations.

The house was beautiful and the garden was very peaceful. I felt at home here. The host was lovely.

Super chouette

I stayed at Vom Vom Garden House for 3 weeks in August 2025, and I truly enjoyed my time there with the hosts, Bac Huong and Bac Thanh, who were very kind. I was able to practise Vietnamese with them and really appreciated their patience, as I often gave them headaches with my poor Vietnamese (even though I am of Vietnamese descent, I haven't spoken the language for years). The place was peaceful and quiet, far from the noise and crowds of Da Nang and Hoi An. I stayed in the third room, near the guest kitchen. The room was spacious, clean, with a very comfortable bed. The AC was great, and the shower pressure was good, though hot water was intermittent. Good wifi. I enjoyed relaxing on the patio surrounded by a lovely garden. The neighborhood is lively and welcoming, with children playing after school and some karaoke (which seems to be a national hobby in Vietnam) during the weekends. However, there was no loud music late at night, so I could sleep peacefully. The hosts even took me on a neighborhood tour the morning after my arrival, showing me where to find coffee (Chang Cafe’s cà phê muối – salty, creamy coffee – is a must-try!), fresh coconut water, banh mi, and other traditional Vietnamese breakfast dishes nearby. I could also buy fruit from local vendors or soft tofu with ginger syrup (make sure to go before 7 am and buy from the old lady on the main road). A Winmart convenience store is nearby, and there are several local shops. The homemade meals at Vom Vom’s were a highlight—authentic, fresh, and affordable. I highly recommend the vegetarian dishes, the caramelized shrimp and the marinated fishes. Every meal I had there was delicious! The location at mid-distance from both Da Nang and Hoi An, is perfect, with easy access to Grab bikes and cars at any time of day. Personally, I booked Grab bikes for my entire stay. It’s quite thrilling, especially if you’re feeling adventurous and want to experience the hectic motorbike traffic in Vietnam!
