La Maison al Fortino

The property was well equipped and had great attention to detail. They even had a beach umbrella for us to take to the beach during our stay. The breakfast options left for us were so thoughtful. The host was extremely welcoming and attentive and recommended some great food places for us to try.

Cosy. Safe. Sparkling clean. The best & the most comfortable bed in Catania.Slept like in heaven. Fast wifi.Nicely organised kitchen, clean bathroom.And super generous breakfast !!! Simply amazing. Flexible check-in!!! It was self check-in and organised exactly when I said I will be in town . The host is very friendly,helpful,welcoming & nice ! Don’t hesitate to book this apartment. The place to come back!

Skvělá lokalita nedaleko centra. Skvěle vybavený a prostorný apartmán.. Nachystaná snídaně na ráno! 👍 Byli jsme zde na poslední noc před odletem ze Sicílie a bylo to skvělé.

Host was excellent for inital contact in arriving, helping with instructuons on getting to the property. There is a handy pack in the property with instructuons, flyers etc and all utensils and things you would need water, milk etc were provided in the fr8dge which was really useful.

No clear check out instructuons were provided. The host contacted us to agree 8am as when we would leave, but we waited at the property an extra hour until 9am with no contact from them, or instructions on where to leave keys. I had phoned them and messaged them multiple times as we were leaving the property to fly home and we received no response. It is a shame as the host had been very helpful and friendly up to that point, but we m8ssed our bus to the airport after waiting so long and ended up having to leave in a rush.

The place is great! It has everything you need for a very good vacation. Me and my family felt very comfortable - as it was our home. :) The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and needs. We'll definitely visit the place again. :)

The owners were lovely and helpful. The apartment was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more ! The bed was very comfortable indeed . The kitchen had every appliance you can think of and there was lots of food and drinks supplies . The bathroom was functional. There was a dog bed, blanket and bowls . The dog was made to feel at home too! The apartment is very close to the city centre and ideally situated for walking about exploring.

Parking was difficult - although the owners did move their car for us so we could park. Outside the apartment was a typical Catania street with rubbish and broken glass - not the best for the dog .

The appartment was very cosy and well equipped, the location was in a walkable distance to the city center so you can enjoy the nightlife without limits. Good communication with the owner, we got all we needed.

The neighbourhood had seen iťs better times and it’s a bit dirty, but that´s how things are in most of Catania.

We had a lovely stay at la Maison al Fortino. The hostess prepared breakfast items, coffee and fruits for our stay. The appartment was very clean. Only a short distance walk and we were in the center - very convenient!
