Classical apartment with a modern touch!

This is a lovely apartment with beautiful architecture and decor. It was quiet and felt safe despite being on such a busy street. The location is great for public transport as it's a few minutes walk from two metro lines as well as many bus lines. There are supermarkets a couple of minutes away. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, good WiFi and a modern cooker, fridge etc. Excellent communication with Chris from start to end.

We understand that wiring can be an issue in old buildings and had been advised on what to do if something trips. However, we could not boil the kettle while using the cooker without this happening, so hopefully this can be sorted. Unfortunately the shampoo and shower gel seemed to have been watered down until they were useless.

Lots of space and good facilities

This apartment was BEAUTIFUL & PERFECT! Excellent location for our visit and plans. This apartment was a posh calm oasis in the middle of the busy city. Big open floor plan and everything you could possibly need! Absolutely gorgeous details everywhere you look from the crown moldings, to wall treatments to floors to the art work. Remote controlled Window covers kept the apartment nice and cool in the heat of the afternoon and while we were out. The Air conditioners in each room worked fantastically. Host was excellent with communication, gave us great food/ transportation/entertainment recommendations and answered all of my many questions quickly. Also- big bonus of elevator for 5th floor location. Also LOVED having the private balcony!! Be sure to check out the two sculptures on the building on the sides of the balcony.! The building has beautiful architectural detail on the outside and those were two fun little surprises to discover one evening while enjoying a glass of Hungarian wine. This has been our favorite place that we’ve stayed on our two week euro trip.

Only downside for us was no parking specifically for the building (like you would have at a hotel- but this is to be expected when you live/stay in any city!) the closest public lot only lets you pay 3hrs at a time & we plan to stay 2days. However, host quickly helped us out and sent me 3 local Garages that had no time limit. We parked at BOE Garage at the NOVATEL hotel, cost of about 50euro for our two day stay and it was a very quick 2 blocks away.
