Der Pub ist gut, das Essen sehr lecker.

Das Zimmer wirkte sehr ungepflegt und so, als ob lange nicht geputzt worden wäre. Das Frühstück war mäßig und das Geld nicht wert. Leider war auch das Personal nicht besonders freundlich.

Pretty frontage and outlook. Good for a Sunday lunch. Nice outdoor tables and cosy interior. English cooked breakfast was good. Steak & Ale pie very good.

Didn’t like the decor in room. Needs a coat of paint. Cheap looking furniture and shabby looking overall. Disappointed by our stay.

Old world pub in a rural setting, overlooking the cricket pitch.

The accommodation is starting to look tired but it was clean.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The dinner and breakfast were delicious.

shut at 8 no internet no local shops so having had a drink I could not drive anywhere could not get internet so could not order food was just locked off from the world also TV didn't work

Die Lage ist günstig (kurzer Weg zum Tunnel), gutes Essen.

Die Unterkunft macht einen etwas heruntergekommenen Eindruck, besonders die Fenster! Bis warmes Wasser kommt dauert es Minuten. Spartanische Ausstattung.

Matras was geheel doorgezakt, had al 30 jaar geleden moeten worden vervangen. Bed was te kort.

Lovely location, lots of character, friendly staff, good food.

Comfortable and homely pub. Excellent pub food and service. I liked the draft ale. Room was fine for me but depends what you are looking for - not a perfectly formed soulless box as you might get in a hotel chain - but character, clean and a lovely view over the green. I found the bed comfortable. It might not be a destination in itself but if you are visiting the area overnight then it’s a good choice.

I liked it all but could do with some more coat hooks in the room.
