Bright and spacious apartment with a balcony in quiet downtown of Ålesund

The apartment is bit outside of the city center but we like it. And behind the apartment there is a view point which we watched the beautiful sunset on the Norwegian see. Tips for family who travels by car: there are actually few parking spaces (white lines) on the same street (free parking between 16:00-8:00 overnight), just 50m away from the apartment building.

Besides most travelers mentioned shabby staircases, there were still some food in the fridge - makes me feel like sharing the apartment with someone else.

The apartment was very spacious and clean, the location was perfect, right in the centre.

The radiators were small so it took a while till it became warmer in the rooms.

-Hot water problems (apparently small tank volume) -The dishes were dirty, there was no frying pan - Broken washing machine - Uncomfortable beds - A very small toilet with a tiny sink
