The Peace Tara House

The staff were very lovely. I was picked up from this location and brought to their secondary location, peace paradise beach. just note that if you book this location in the off season, you should call the owner on arrival and they will make sure you are taken care of. From start to finish, the host was extremely accommodating. He set me up with a fair priced taxi driver who was lovely, was super lovely to talk to, and had the room clean, prepped, and ac on ready for my arrival (despite being quite early to normal check in time). With that, being the off season, I had the place to myself! it’s a gorgeous property and the room was very very spacious. He even provided beach towels and water free of charge, and offered to clean the room. With that, the host also offered 24/7 laundry services as well as motorbike rentals. It was super lovely and I would come back. He even checked in with my pick up/speed boat company when it was time for me to leave that they would be on their way! With all of that, it was in walking distance of fantastic restaurants and 7/11!

The only downside is there tends to be bugs - but provided the beachfront and the hot humid weather these were expected. You can hear cars pass but this is very standard with hotels here (also did not impact sleep ability). Some things needed updating but they were just impacted by the weathering of the climate and being by the sea - nothing major!

Loved our stay here, booked for a week and could have easily stayed longer. The family staff are LOVELY and so helpful with my many queries. They have scooters to rent so that's super easy too and sort washing and room cleans no problem. The room has everything you need, is a good size and comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony too. Lovely area, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. ATM and shops next door.

Aircon takes a while to cool the room down but if you close the bathroom door it cools down much quicker! Have some patience you will be comfortable.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.The hotel is right in the middle of the "village",next door to a supermarket and 7/11. Beautiful Klong Nin beach is 5 minutes walk away a nd there are plenty of restaurants at the doorstep and of course bars and restaurants on the beach. Our room was very spacious and clean,but located at a corner,where everyone had to walk past,so we had to keep the curtains shut.Not a big problem really.But also the waterpump was right next to the room and as we are older and light sleepers it was annoying. After telling the staff about it they managed to move us to another room immediately ,in the very busy high season! All in all a great little place.

The Peace Tara was our special hotel in Klong Nin. Close to the most delicious beaches and restaurants, with spacious and well-equipped rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff that is the real added value. Excellent value for money. We will see the next year. Thanks

The staff were all very nice, smiling and helpful and friendly .

The room was spacious , the bed was comfortable. However most other facilities were of poor quality and poorly installed, causing water to leak over bathroom cabinets etc. The room had mosquitoes in it on arrival and no spray or anti mosquito dispenser provided. The outside chord were degrading in UV . No chair inside the room. The water pump was noisy all night , starting on and off all night long . The curtains would not close and were becoming thread bare providing little privacy as people walked past the room . The room was worn and very tired , in need of a revamp as it was a spacious room. The noise from the scooter laden street below during the day was loud .
