Umah Bali Kuno Villa

1/ Building with its own characteristics that best fit forest context. Bamboo and stone are the major materials, help us to feel the nature; 2/ Best forest view; 3/ Sufficient and good amenities for short trip, i.e. Private and decent swimming pool, TV with Netflix, additional hanging bed, huge and relax shower room; 4/ Very Helpful and passionate staff; 5/ Extraordinary coffee experience at coffee shop at the villa; 6/ Tasty breakfast and fresh drinks provided by villa.

1/ Insect issue. Many insects lives at the outdoor, but are expected. We also found lot of colourful butterflies, that’s great! A little amount of insects can be found at indoor, so better to keep the glass door be closed and not let them get in the house; 2/ Chicken’s morning sound may be annoying at all daytime , but can get used to it; 3/ There are some difficulties to find the house at dark environment or rainy days. It will be good to provide some illuminated directional signage to guide people or provide portable flashlight.

Amazing property, the view is unbelievable!! There is a great energy in the place, very relaxing and healing. You can’t get better than that. Really special place and special thanks to Bali for driving us!

Few very small details to sort out, nothing major

Our stay in the villa was perfect. The villa is ideally located north of Ubud so in peace, a hidden gem in an isolated jungle room. The infinity pool as well as the perch offer a splendid view of the surrounding jungle. The room is very comfortable and fully equipped with a particularly large and comfortable bed. Note the warm welcome you will receive from the family who owns the villa. The best warm welcome we have received since our stay in Indonesia which includes the visit of Java, Lombak and Raja Ampat. An irreproachable quality of service where each time we ask for help we were offered (scooter rental, meals at the villa, breakfast in the rice fields and many other tips if you wish). In conclusion, it was a remarkable stay in all its aspects. And especially if you want to enjoy a particularly caring contact from a Balinese family where you will discover the culture and soul of the people of Bali

It is a privilege to be a guest here, one of the best quality hotels you can stay in the Ubud area.The facility is very clean and a luxury hotel with quality furnishings.The staff is very attentive and helpful.They also help you when you want to rent a car or motorcycle. You can also try luwak coffee in hotel.

It is a beautiful property with very kind staff, very clean. The breakfast was very nice and they even offered a solution when we encountered a problem with the bees and our food. All the facilities worked nicely and everything was very easy to find. The net was exceptionally amazing because of the added bedding, making it so much more comfortable. Also, having the opportunity to experience more of Balinese culture right next door was very nice. The option to order lunch/dinner via a close-by restaurant was also really nice. Communication was relatively easy and very quick over whatsapp. A definite plus was the amazing hot shower, which seem to be hard to find here in Bali.

There appeared to be colouring in the swimming pool, so our hair turned slightly green. Furthermore, there was a stove in the kitchen - but no pans to cook on it (sadly we forgot to ask about this issue during our stay). Also, the slight problem with punctuality - we ordered for our breakfast to be at 09:30 but they arrived with the food a little past 9 all three times. Finally, if I were to suggest something, it would be to add a way to refill water bottles.
