Was a bit hard to find on maps - not sure why. Was told when we arrived there was an 11.30pm curfew, as the owners lock up and go to bed. Wasn’t a huge problem for us but didn’t read that anywhere before staying. We also noticed the staff came in a few times while we were out to turn off the air con - it was boiling and the air con wasn’t very good so we left it on on purpose, we did mention it to the staff who said they were happy to leave it on for the last night.

The room facing the street was nice and bright. The price is okay compared to other hotels in the area. It has an elevator and is near to the river.

Before arrival I was asked when I will arrive and when I will check out the next day. At arrival the first topic was, that the hotel will be closed at night and that I cannot stay if I plan to go out longer then 12. I never planned to stay out long and totally understand the rule, but the constant focus on times didn't make me feel welcome. I had booked a room with balcony with nice view on the pictures. When I arrived it turned out that the pictures where from another room at the highest floor and my balcony and window were facing a concrete wall. When I reacted a bit disappointed the owners straight away told me to go to another hotel. In the end I could change for another room which was 5$ more expensive, but brighter.

The hotel is very well located and this is its main advantage. The owner is polite and punctual. At our request, they gave us an electric kettle and printed a small document - completely free of charge. The room was quite clean, Wi-Fi was weak in the evenings, but good during the day. Our room had a balcony overlooking the wall of the neighboring house, which can be reached by hand. From this house, children's screams and other sounds of hectic life were sometimes heard. For $20, I think it's a good option if there wasn't already dust on the balcony railing.

I would have liked to have a kettle in the room I had a room to the front of the property and it was a bit noisy until c 11pm because of live music in the bar on the nearby corner

Near the center, convenient for travel, shopping.

Soundproofing is not good. When I asked to borrow an iron, there wasn't one. Need more motorbike rental services.
