The finish around the shower was rough the shower drain wasn't fixed and the shower head had sealant tape wrapped around it and most likely needed further work.

AUEasy walking proximity to Viaduct area and central Auckland which was a requirement for us due to family gatherings.
Could have been so much better. Very noisy location due to bottles being continuously dumped in the rubbish from waterfront restaurants and the pub which also provided roudy noisy home going patrons. Outside the control of apartment managers but detrimental to a comfortable stay. The barrage of messages from the apartment management prior to our stay overlapping with booking.com messages was extremely annoying and time consuming. Studio apartment which was really a hotel room with kitchenette so very small. Looks a lot bigger in the photos. No hot water on our arrival or the next morning. Management company rectified this quickly once notified but wasn't a good start to our seven night stay. Cleaning below standard including underwear items found in the dryer and in the wardrobe. Previous guests sock and a full kitchen rubbish bag left in the water heater cupboard. Microwave on built in shelf but no electrical outlet to plug it in to. Management sent repair man to add extension lead to connect microwave to designated outlet in cabinetry and fix dripping toilet. One mini hotel sized personal use shampoo and body wash supplied for two people meant skimping until we had time to go shopping. The advertisement did say basics supplied and they weren't wrong. This was the theme for everything. We just felt any supplies provided were skimped on. Small thin worn out bath towels. No kitchen cleaning cloths or washing up liquid. No broom or vacuum cleaner not even a hand brush and dust pan to clean up the floor. The washing machine hoses were incorrectly fitted so when we thought we were doing a cold wash we were actually getting hot water not cold which ruined some of our clothes. We felt the accommodation was below standard considering the NZ$260 per night rate. Paying the NZ$300 security deposit via stripe payment platform didn't make us comfortable either and also upset our credit card company as we had to verify the payment with them.
AUThe room was very comfortable and well appointed. Proximity to the CBD and viaduct precinct was very convenient. And the staff were communicative and very helpful.

NZWe had a suprise upgrade which was great. Snazzy interior decoration. Great location overlooking the harbour, and balcony set up for a beaut brunch. Comfy bed, well stocked kitchen. Great comms from the organisers.
Clubs nearby so was a bit louder on party nights, but earplugs work a charm. Dishwasher took a few goes to go all the way through, errored out at spin stage.
