Blue Sky City Center

The location was fun. It has a modest entrance between an erotica shop and a second hand phone shop. I found this quite amusing. Inside, you need to go up in an old fashioned lift but then back down a flight of stairs so it is on floor 3/4. However, once inside, it is large, clean, modern and comfortable. The location is great: you are on the edge of the old town so the nightlife is right outside but a few minutes walk in the other direction will take you to facilities such as a large Carrefour.

The erotica shop was never open (joke).

The location in the center around the restaurants, super market and shopping center. The owner very helpful and very nice person. The apartment has everything you need it is perfect for us. Will be my choice every time I visit Bucharest.

קודם כל אין שום חניה באיזור, אם אתם עם רכב ממליצה לבחור מקום אחר. שנית כשהגענו לא היה לנו איך להיכנס כי מישהו לקח את המפתח. בעל הדירה ענה וטיפל בזה. הבניין עצמו בניין שבור מאוד ועם ריח של ביוב. ניכר שהיתה השקעה בתוך הבית אבל קמנו עם הרבה עקיצות של פשפשים ועזבנו את המקום בלי להישאר ללילה נוסף ששילמנו עליו.

Под окном бар и до утра большие компании очень шумят

The location is absolutely EXCELLENT! It's on the main road opposite LIPIE doner restaurant but there's never any noise or traffic. The apartment is beautifully furnished - I really felt at home! There's a fridge, stove and washing machine. The bed is comfortable with ample closet space and hangers. There was also an iron, ironing table, hair dryer and drying rack provided. There's a couch with a small TV and windows that look out into the street. The instructions are overly complicated. It's 25 mins away from the airport, about 95 RON by UberX. All the restaurants in the old city are literally 5 mins away. For tours that did not pick me up, I had to walk a max of 18 mins to the tour start location. There's even a mini mart next door for snacks and wine. As with most places in Europe, the outside is not the most aesthetically pleasing but what was important to me was accessibility, a clean, bright space and a comfortable location to just chill with Netflix and snacks. The owner was lovely. Someone had jammed their key in the main gate so he went door to door fixing everyone a fresh key fob so there'd be no inconvenience. Now keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage, the lift goes to the 1st floor and then you walk down a flight of stairs. If you walk it's 2 flights up. I had a proper struggle with my heavy suitcases but that's on me.

The hot water took a while to kick in and flooded the shower area a bit but no big deal

The host was very responsive and informative. The instructions to get in the apartment were very clear. It is located steps from the old town where you will find everything you need. It was very clean and the space was enough for 3 people.

I would say that for some people the main entrance to the building may look a little sketchy due the traffic of people in and out the building. However, we felt safe and didn’t have any issues to complain about.

The location is EXCELLENT - right on the edge (about 20 steps from Old Town) and right on a main street. Very close to Unirii Plaza which is a main transportation hub - trams, busses and metro. So nice to "be" in Old Town but without all the noise - the windows are sound proof. The apartment was so quiet! The apartment furnishings were fresh and the bed was very comfortable! The windows overlooked the street so the apartment was nice and bright! The host was very accommodating to our needs and in excellent communication throughout our stay. So many restaurants close by. The entrance to the building is a little unusual but once you are in the apartment everything is very pleasant! Highly recommend.
