Soho House in Bordon

Neat, clean, compact, quiet, helpful host, comfortable. We would come back.

Some through ventilation would be good. The host has responded to suggestions of a fan and this does help. But still it is a bit hot and stuffy.

The space was good and clean. The bed was comfortable and we liked there was a separate seating area. The bath was a proper treat, the television good and the separate bathroom and shower were excellent. We also appreciated the little fridge on site. We arrived quite late and didn’t see the owners. Access was easy and we appreciated the privacy. This was perfect for our needs, we were travelling between two destinations and this was a great stop gap overnight. I could see it would also be perfect for someone who was working for a week or two in the local area and offered a higher quality of accommodation than a hotel would at that price.

Only a couple of very small comments. The room was pretty warm (they do provide a fan and it was a warm day). However the bedding was pretty thick, we ended up taking the duvet out of the cover as it was just too hot. Suggest either cotton bedding in the summer or even just a sheet on the bed so there is a cooler option. Secondly, a toaster would have been so useful. I get that this isn’t a full kitchen Air BnB however, a toaster is a basic essential for that sort of place. Lastly, the Nespresso machine. A couple of supplied pods would not go amiss. I would have rather paid a couple of extra pounds for the accommodation, rather than go round to the local supermarket. Al of the above are just general comments that could make an improvement. In general we were very impressed.

Great facilities and easy to access.

Was very hot for the duration of my stay and the lack of air flow to the room made it hotter. A fan or air con would be a solution for this.

A quirky little space in a converted garage/outbuilding. Nice and private with everything you need for an overnight stay. We really liked having the fridge and microwave to help us sort out breakfast from the local shops.

Unfortunately the shower is a little small, but given the space that's available we're not sure there's anything bigger that could be installed

Was clean. Bed comfy.

Quite warm, 27-ish degrees. Nespresso without pods.
