"Very convenient and comfortable stay."

7.0

Comfortable stay, Well appointed kitchen and lounge. Excellent hot shower, easy to park and find. Handy location for where I wanted to be. Towels provided. Very clean and quiet. Shops close by and excellent places to eat nearby too.

Wifi connection and signal very poor. Heating did kick in eventually but it was freezing in there the first night - took a day and half for the heat to hold. Kept needing to put the thermostat on (not an issue in Summer but it was icy cold most nights when I was staying)). No dressing table in bedroom but managed with the small table there, Sink too small in bathroom kept hitting head on shelf! No hair dryer I couldnt find one but didn't need it - just a point of reference for future.

The hosts have thought very carefully about the comfort of guests. The accommodation was spotless and many items were new. The bed was great, the shower was hot, the settee very large and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped..

"Very pleasant."

9.0

Well furnished. Clean. Well-equipped. Comfortable. Quiet.

Would have liked shower in gel in the bathroom and washing-up liquid in the kitchen. Could not open bathroom window.

"The accommodation is comfortable and excellent value for money. I would stay here again."

8.0

Great location to explore the surrounding area. Right by the coast in such a beautiful part of the country. Despite being attached to the host's property the apartment was very quiet and felt private. As a solo traveller it felt very safe here. The hosts are 'on site', but this did not feel invasive to my own privacy. Spacious kitchen and lounge area. Comfy bedroom. Especially liked having the freezer to freeze ice blocks, which I use for daily picnics. Off road parking. Felt very comfortable there: home from home!

Wifi didn't work upstairs. Bathroom window wouldn't open. I see this has been mentioned before. Found the shower temperature a bit hard to regulate.

"An immaculate stay in an excellent location"

10.0

The annex was immaculately presented. We had everything we needed for our short stay. The owners checked we were OK and the information pack was really helpful. The location is stunning and close to all sorts of beaches, shops and attractions.

"Clean and comfortable"

9.0

Everything was very clean, and comfortable, thoughtfully designed, highly recommended overall. I liked the soft, thick carpet. Downstairs area was nice and spacious. Great location, just minutes away from the beach at Seaton Sluice (and usefully near for visiting the Seaton Delaval National Trust property)

Was woken up in the early hours by what seemed to be deliveries [banging/rolling noise] to a neighbour at the rear (perhaps the dairy?). Couldn't manage to open the window in the toilet/shower room for ventilation (and not a convenient time to contact the owner for help)

"Highly recommend"

10.0

The Annex by the Sea is a lovely, comfortable and spacious private apartment. It is very clean and has everything you could possibly need. We were greeted at the door by Ben, who was very pleasant and welcoming. The location is perfect for whatever you are looking for during your stay. Would highly recommend and will stay again in the future.

Can't find anything at all.
