The Juliette - Luxury Historic Residence

Our group loved all of the amenities of this property from location to everything provided in the house. And the decor was just lovely. The surrounding neighborhood is appealing and we were just minutes drive to nearby shopping. There are a few places in walking distance from the house, we just ran out of time and didn't get to venture locally but heard good reviews.

The first night we had some noisy neighbors but luckily it didn't last too long ;)

To start, the home was gorgeous! The photos on the listing page are very accurate and I would even go as so far to say the home was more beautiful in person (which doesn’t happen often with vaca rental homes) The updates and attention to detail in both preservation of original features, as well as incorporating new elements but keeping in the old Charleston character were well combined! The home was pristinely kept. The home offered features not common in rentals, ie Nespresso pods, coffee and tea, sweeteners, cooking basics (oil, salt, pepper). There were delicious local artisanal packaged cookies and a few bottles of wine left as a ‘Welcome’ feature. We haven’t been this impressed with a rental home features since our most recent EU trip. There were lovely toiletries in the bathrooms. Plenty of extra linens, beach towels, trash bags, hand soaps… I could go on! Location: There were a handful of restaurants that were walkable in the neighborhood. Further past that into the lower Charleston area, we took Ubers. There is a bus stop right of front of the home but we didn’t look into it on this trip. There was also a small carry out maybe a block or two east of here, again, very walkable. Would recommend and would return!
