Hotel Sai Palace Inn

The hotel is not bad. We just had a really bad experience. When we arrived at 23:00. They told us we needed to pay 2000r more as the room, he gave it to another guest. He was extremely rude and arrogant. He told us to cancel our booking at the part of the night and go find another hotel. He told us we didn't book with him, we booked with booking.com and we should go complain to them. He refused to give us the room for the confirmed price of 5000r for 2 tonight. After heavy argument, we paid 1500r extra and had no choice and no where to go. Apart from that, the hotel was OK. Worn down. Stains on bed. Was suitable as we just need a place to sleep as we visited the Ashrum.

After our argument, he made the stay in even uncomfortable, he ignore us every time we saw him. He treated us like crap.

While the staff was friendly and very helpful, the rooms were substandard. The first room we were offered had mold in the bathroom ceiling and there were cockroaches in the room. The a/c in the room was very noisy. There were loud noises outside the room throughout the night, and we had a disturbed sleep. Upon requesting a better room, we were moved to another room that was somewhat cleaner, but the bathroom door wouldn't close. Cable channels in both rooms were non functioning.

The staff were friendly and efficient and the receptionists were very helpful and answered all our questions.The room (101) was nicely done, spacious, and the room was very comfortable, The room was clean, air-conditioned with suit beds, hot water facility, and bright.The hotel was within walking distance of SSIHMS Putaparthi. The hotel's prime location was made exploring the Prasanthi Nilayam Ashram Putaparthi and SSPN railway station.
