New Mekar Jaya Hotel

We arrived early and we got an upgrade to one of the new rooms by the pool.The staff helped us with any request we had,pool towels, transport and a late check out.

we had no problem at all with our stay.

Location is good and staff is friendly

It was so dirty! Mold everywhere and shower so disgusting . I really doubt the change the bedding or the towels. It is cheap, but I rather a clean hostel than a dirty private room.

I didn’t like anything but the location of this place it was dirty and looks absolutely nothing like the pictures

It was dirty looked nothing like the pictures had bugs everywhere the doors didn’t work properly the wall plugs were broken fridges didn’t work

Big space outside and very quiet, even being in the middle of all the chaos of Kuta. There's a fridge and a kettle.

The internet was failing a lot of times and had problems in a lot of calls that I had scheduled. Tasks that would take me 10 minutes to do took me 2 hours even at 8pm. There's barely any light coming in the room and that made it very unpleasant to be inside. In the pictures, it's mentioned a desk for the room we booked, but we were assigned to a room without one. There's an empty space above the windows and door so we had mosquitos every night which made the stay so unpleasant without sleeping properly. And there's no place to hang the towel in the bathroom and so much water is leaking under the sink which made it so unbearable. For sure, a place I won't book again nor recommend.

The staff were very helpful and the manager upgraded me to a very nice pool front room.
