Luxury Flat in Moseley with Free Parking

the apartment is quite big, there is all the necessary and essential equipment. access to the apartment is easy and it’s just in front of the bus.

beds: the in the bedroom, the pillow was dirty with a brown mark. Also shower not so clean. the sofa bed did not have sheets, is not very comfortable. it is not representative of the photos in the ad. difficult to sleep more than one night on the sofa bed.

Situation

Horrible smell, which possibly came from the fridge. The bed smelled and had to be sprayed with perfume to deflect the smell. We put t-shirts on the pillows to cover the smell. The shower wasn't something I would choose to wash in. It was similar to a shower I had 25 years ago at university.... The apartment was described as 'luxury'. I appreciate that this word is open to interpretation. However, the apartment should never be described as luxury again. I would suggest 'basic'. Not value for money or would ever return to.

The instructions were on the paper I received from WhatsApp. Generally found it easier to get the keys.

The whole property smelled like urine, all the windows were shut could be the reason, not sure. We had to open the windows and used lots of perfume to fall asleep. The bath shower water was getting stuck so had issues taking shower. Found it bit odd to send the owner my ID via WhatsApp.

Nice spot, clean and comfortable, great for a short stay and the host was efficient and helpful.

"Free parking" was a bit of a mystery - had to park round the corner and unloading our stuff meant parking right next to a busy bus stop. Not the end of the world!

Could be improved poor finishes around flat ie wiring , tiles , flooring very slippery. couldn’t see a fire alarm or fire emergency instructions no fire blanket or extinguisher in flat or hallway. no carbon monoxide alarm. No instruction for rubbish disposal No food delivery available as not registered postcode for apps. No basis information about local area ie taxi / bus service / takeaways. States free parking this is limited and you maybe asked to move. I wouldn’t say it’s luxury as described but 10/10 for trying.
