Private Retreat Central Wanaka 2 Bedroom

It was big and roomy, very close to town, quiet to sleep. Everything was modern. Beds were comfortable, except the mattress covers had seams in them that I could feel and annoyed me a bit, but I am very sensitive.

The property location was great, plenty of parking, the house design is lovely and very modern with big windows to see the lovely views. Very comfy beds, great bathrooms and a lovely wood burning stove with plenty of logs and a useful washing machine and tumble drier.

It isn't really well enough equipped to be self catering. There were only 3 bowls, 4 mugs and not much kitchen equipment. No hand towels or bath mats were provided. A clothes airer would have been handy. Also there was no outdoor furniture to sit on to take in the lovely views on the decking.

Too cold inside house and there is no heater inside bedrooms at all. Gotta keep the fireplace running all times. But was Still too cold as all outside chilled air from bottom floor carbay

Clean and spacious

First night had to park the car and unload down the road.Carry bags up a hilly driveway in the rain..No milk on arrival.No toiletries.Had to buy these items at the shop next day.The house was cold even with a fire and air-conditioning.

Central to Wanaka, beds comfortable, fireplace was better than heat pump.

Quite open in set up so would be a challenge to warm up.
