Located at the top of Solto Collina, the bedroom terrace offers an mesmerizing natural light show every sunrise or sunset. We came on a cloudy day but it was still spectacular nonetheless. Everything at the property is self-service - there is a long PDF detailing everything you need to do to pick up keys, deal with garbage as well as power cuts. Solto Collina is very local oriented, and things are reasonably priced with a neighbourhood charm, like the fantastic Pizzeria L'Alternativa birreria. If you want more upmarket and tourist-oriented catering, there are options down the hill around Riva di Solto.

This would have been a grueling place to reach if you don't drive! The apartment is also clearly once the long time home of someone else, with much of the family portraits remaining in place. On one hand its great to see how an Italian home looks like, on the other hand you could be a bit unease around their personal matters!
