LILY'S VILLA LEMONIA

This was maybe the best find we had so far of any vacation. The villa is just perfect. The rooms are clean, new and modern. The kitchen has everything you need. Two coffee machines, toaster, microwave, dish washer, everything's there. And it's not just the old stuff the owner seemed to have sorted out of their own kitchen like we often had it in the past. Every item, may it be the pans or the knives is absolutely fine. Don't feel like going out in the evening and watch TV instead? Find a huge TV and a comfy sofa in the living room. Want to sip a coffee and enjoy the view? You have plenty of options around the garden, in the kitchen or on the balcony. And you will find a place in the shadow under the brutal crete sun. Now the swimming pool... This thing is the main reason we barely did any sight seeing :) We enjoyed it so much being able to swim and play in the water right next to our drinks and food from our own kitchen and listening to our music. It was so much more comfortable than packing everything together and driving to the beach. You are away from the masses and really have your privacy and can enjoy the silence and the view over the sea. The pool is a salt water pool by the way. That means you don't smell of chlorine after swimming. Look it up, it's amazing. Your host Lily is a gem. She made us feel at home from the very first second. Even before we arrived we got a lot of handy information about the house and the area. She greeted us like friends and whenever we had questions, she was available right away. You can really feel that Lily is not just pushing tourists through the vacation season. You know that she is putting her heart and soul into this and thought everything through, so that her visitors have their best time. And we did. Thank you Lily for your warm welcome, this fantastic vacation and greetings to the also ever friendly George, taking care of the pool every once in a while :)

There was not a single thing we didn't like about our stay. At least nothing that had to do with the house or the host.

Es ist eine wirklich tolle Villa mit einer super freundlichen Gastgeberin Namens Lily. Der Pool ist umwerfend und das Haus ist sehr groß und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Von der Dachterrasse aus kann man den Sonnenuntergang beobachten.

We had the pleasure of spending two weeks in July at Lily's villa. The villa leaves nothing to be desired: the amenities, outdoor area, pool, and the view are second to none. Lily and her son are very attentive and kind hosts. Lily cooks and bakes for her guests several times, towels are changed frequently, and every message or request is answered promptly. We've been to Crete several times before, but Lily's Villa Lemonia will be at the top of our list for future vacations. Lily and George, thank you for everything. Greetings from Germany.

Amazing villa, clean, modern, and fully equipped. The pool and outside garden are amazing, as well as the balcony on the second floor where you can have sundowners. Lily and her son did their best for us to have a great stay! Truly wonderful hosts!

Lily is an excellent host! She is very carrying and hospitable. We had an incredible stay in this beautiful villa. Everything was like described. Outstanding! A perfect place to slow down and relaxe. This was not our first stay at one of Lily’s properties nor will it be the last. Crete is our favorite island and this is our favorite place to stay. When you arrive, you will take in the breathtaking views of the sparkling Aegean just beyond the small village below. You will be greeted by Lily who will show you around the lush poolside gardens and through the house, acquainting you with its many amenities. The house is meticulously clean, beautiful inside and out, and extremely comfortable. (Oh, those luxurious beds!). It is very thoughtfully equipped. Lily seems to have anticipated your every need and if you have special requests, she is always available to help. Lily loves Crete. She knows it’s ancient history and geography. She can recommend sites to visit, places to eat, the best beaches and mountain vistas. She can arrange excursions. It is said the Greeks invented hospitality and Lily seems out to prove it. She is warm, energetic and dedicated to seeing that every one of her guests experience their unique idea of a perfect vacation. You can book this property with total confidence.
