Area not great old street .But in corner shops , cofe bar, silent street.Good personel helpful

Great location - an easy 1-1.5 mile walk into the city centre with some local shops and take-aways even closer. The road the property is on is quite steep so beware if you struggle with walking or don't have a good handbrake on your car!

Bathroom has a a slow leak somewhere resulting in water UNDER the tiles which bubbles up when stood on - we spent the holiday taking care where we stepped to avoid getting wet socks - sounded like the landlord was aware of the issue (July 2024) and will hopefully be resolved eventually (before it causes some major damage!). Lounge only has a 3-seater sofa (the single-seater shown in the photos was missing and replaced with an office chair). We booked last minute (same day!) and there was only 3 sets of towels in the property on arrival - Notified host who said they would drop a 4th set in the next day - but never did (we were there for 3 nights). Stairway banister shows many years of grime which will only be resolved with full sand-down and re-paint (i.e. not likely to happen). Property was overall clean and bedding ok so we had a good stay - generally the house felt a bit shabby and in need of maintenance - with many light bulbs needing replacing, cutlery which is looking old and grubby and quite a mix of crockery.

I enjoyed the homely, tranquil atmosphere. What stood out to me were the comfy beds, the fireplace and the wifi signal was a bonus! Spacious enough but still cosy and I made full use of the bath and kitchen. I didn't realise how much of a difference a well equipped kitchen makes as I saved me from buying take away which is what I normally tend to do, but didn't need to here. It meant that food didn't go to waste! I do rate this place I low key didn't want to make this review as I didn't want it to keep getting fully booked out, but I don't blame it if it does! Photos same as the actual house.

Please consider keeping cleaning essentials bathroom and kitchen as had we known we would've came with our own. 9/10 for this reason

Property was very clean and tidy.

When we reached there is no any basic things like sugar,coffee, tea , milk in kitchen and when we go to bathroom no shampoo no shawer gel. So we call to concern person and they give me only shampoo to next morning at nearby 11am. Which is very unprofessional.

House was clean and spacious. Comfortable stay in a good location.
