Kiman Old Town Hotel

Good location, public restaurant at front of hotel run by the proprietors, great food, beer, soft drinks and coffee at very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed here 7 years ago & liked it then.

No lift, so keeps you fit.

The owner and his wife are friendly and helpful. The location is good—about a 10-15 minute walk to the main tourist spots, with shops and restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab food anytime. The room is not big but is equipped with the necessary amenities. Overall, it's good value for money.

The cleanliness of the room could be better.

A bit of a mixed review, as it’s split across two rooms/hotels (see below). Once we were into the room we had booked, in the right hotel, the room was good, although still quite a bit of dirt/mould on the walls/ceiling. The staff were friendly and let us check out late for our overnight bus (at a cost of 100k).

When we arrived to check in, we were told that our room wasn’t ready, as the bathroom needed repairing, so we were sent to the sister hotel across the street. It was an internal room, so no windows, and was much smaller than the room we booked. It had mould all over the walls, which was causing the paint to flake off onto the beds. The electric would also turn off quite frequently.

Great location and good value for the money. The family that runs the hotel is lovely and was very helpful. Also the food you can order is very good and nice to have right at the accommodation.

If there is any to complain it’s that it was a bit noisy but to be fair that’s in most places in Vietnam the case.

Very good stay! Nice hotel in a great location with friendly staff. The room was comfortable, and the service was good. Would stay again!
