Condo in Waterfront Resort with Balcony Close to Beaches Free Bikes

The apartment was very nice and everything was super clean. We had super good communication from the owner and she went over and above to answer our questions about everything! The bikes were always available and we used them every single day. There's a fantastic bike path called "Pinellas Trail" that is just minutes from the resort and a straight shot into Dunedin. It goes for miles both north and south. The pools were great and there were lots of chairs to choose from - if you got there in time to grab one! Beach/pool towels are provided which was a really nice bonus.

The resort/apartment is not anywhere near the beaches, which was a big surprise to us as the apartment was advertised as "beaches nearby". Clearwater Beach is 30 minutes away by car (we did not have a car) and an Uber to get down there cost over $30. We did manage to find out about the "Jolley Trolley" which is a very inexpensive way to get around. The pick up spot is on the street right in front of the resort. It took almost an hour to get to the beach, which wasn't bad for $2.25. Coming back it took 2 1/2 hours. Not exactly "nearby"! Honeymoon beach is closer but still 30 minutes by bike. This whole "beach" fiasco was very disappointing. The bar/restaurant was VERY loud on the weekend but fortunately it calmed right down on Monday and for the rest of the week. Fortunately we could not hear any noise from the bar/restaurant at all.

Host had great communication through out process from booking to check out. Place clean and comfortable. Pool/Hottub nice.
