Cozy family chalet with spacious garden in the nature between Amsterdam Haarlem and Schiphol Airport

House exactly as in the photos, has everything you need for your stay (no microwave but oven and cooker). Bikes are so handy to save yourself €20 in uber to the train station (20 min bike ride to the area train station) to get to Central Amsterdam. Host is mega helpful and friendly, generous and always available.

A little dark in the bathroom but easy to fix.

It is quiet, comfortable and very cozy! The Kitchen came with an Oven, Stove and an assortment of cooking utensils: We loved it! Although the property is a little remote, the bikes which were provided for 5€ per day/person made up for that, taking you to the beach as well as Amsterdam in under an hour!

There was a bit of construction noise throughout the first couple of days, coming from an adjacent bungalow, but other than that it was perfect.

The kitchen had had new units in it and were very clean. You could see the marks of the old kitchen doors on the ceiling. We were very impressed by the way they had used old railway sleepers a breakfast bar. The down side of this was the lights above it. The sink taps where loose.

We were asked a time of arrival before hand so you would expect the heating to be on, but this was not the case and the temperature on the heating was set at 10 degrees. Approaching the property through the gate the garden looked as if no one cared. ( This looked nothing like the photo on the internet ) In the hand book provided there was no instructions as to operate the heating or T.V. We managed to work out how to turn the heating on. The heating made awful gurgling noise as if there was air trapped in the system and the radiator in the kitchen did not heat up. Both bedrooms were very small and there were no draws for under cloths. The rack provide to hang things on had to be taken out of the bedroom or you would not be able to get into bed and when you did this the wheels fell off. In the front bedroom the window was cracked and looked as if it had been so for some time. The curtains in all the rooms were only put on a length of plastic pipe so when you wanted to draw them the rail fell off as it was not secured to the brackets. The worst part was what they called a bathroom. It was the size of two shower trays so you had the shower at one side and the other side was the toilet. There was a small wash hand basin but no hot water only a cold tap. This meant if you wanted to wash instead of shower you had to use the kitchen sink. ( Not very hygienic ) I would have been helpful for more information be put in the information booklet as say to supermarkets etc. ( The good thing in the booklet was to that of the second restaurant as this was really good.

Close to airport Quiet Comfortable beds. The right firmness Kitchen is well equipped.

Fake plants are not necessary. Very small bathroom
