I had the worst stay ever, the host was non-responsive, non-cooperative, wasn't willing to provide customer service, didn't understand what short stay service apartment customer service is all about, the apartment was boiling hot I requested for 2 standing fans which don't even cost GBP 10 each, and the host's reason for not providing was because previously guests took them away, the apartment had maintenance issues, door handles were broken, we kept getting stuck in the bathroom, the bath tub screen handle broken, cooker hob 2 of them kept having malfunction, on top of that when I reported the issues the host's behavior was unhelpful and wasn't ready to accept the issues in the apartment which I reported the moment I entered the flat. Definitely not going to recommend anyone staying in this apartment.
GBIt was within walking distance of a lovely Restaurant & walk by the canal. Safe secure parking.
We had to check in late ( 20.30) as our previous accommodation in Birmingham had been cancelled without us being told. ( 5 minutes before we were due to check in) . It took ages to book this due to the owner being in a meeting & all the forms to read ( by Email) & damage deposit of £250 to pay while all the time just sat in a car. The dishwasher was broken with dirty water still in the bottom ( we hadn’t been told but apparently the owner knew) No T towel left out to dry up after doing the dishes by hand. ( Apparently in a locked cupboard maybe we should have been made aware of this ). The space called the garden is full of weeds. Which sadly makes the property look bad & we have received a parking fine as the permit was not in the apartment on the table as it said everywhere that it was. It was under a picture in the hall & While waiting for the owner to tell us where it was we were fined from within the complex. We had one disabled passenger & It was my husband’s birthday. Just a shame the previous accommodation didn’t inform You or us earlier that they weren’t having people to stay.
