Sunny Seaside Sanctuary - Two Bedroom Apartment

"The accommodation is just a few steps from the beach and several bus stops. For Brighton, it's a quiet yet central location. The apartment was clean and had everything needed for a short stay. The two bedrooms are well separated, and the shared living space is comfortable. We really liked the small wood-burning fireplace — which came in handy — and the electric heaters in the bedrooms worked well. Communication with the host was smooth, and upon arrival, Anna (who handles the handovers) provided lots of useful information about the area. I can confidently recommend this place for up to four people!

It should be noted that this is not a new apartment, and its age is noticeable in several aspects. Most notably, the old windows are quite unusual — they provide very little insulation and tend to get condensation on the inside. Noise from the surroundings does come through, though luckily the only party was a few houses away. Traffic and birds didn’t bother me. Unfortunately, the beds here were also uncomfortable and small — I’m starting to think this might be a British peculiarity.

Well appointed flat with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Spotlessly clean & nice decor. Great location with shops nearby. Communication with Natasha was great, she was so hopeful all my questions!

Seagulls a bit noisy in the morning. Could have benefited with a couple of fans in the flat.

This two bed apartment was lovely, decorated with some classy, carefully chosen pieces that all went together to form a cohesive and harmonious yet unique atmosphere. A great range of pans and crockery to be able to cook a family meal easily and extras such as washing up liquid, scoured, dishcloth, a couple of tea towels, hand soaps, tea and coffee etc were all very much appreciated and unexpected. Towels were fluffy and again good quality and chosen to blend seamlessly into the design of the apartment. Bedding was good quality 100% cotton and very comfortable, with enough pillows and then extra scatter cushions available if necessary. The Coffee machine in the kitchen was a very welcome unexpected bonus and much appreciated! Coming in to see a welcome card was a nice personal touch with extra information too. Comfortable table and chairs to be able to sit and eat all together, placemats provided (next to the fridge). I liked that there wasn’t a television as it didn’t give the option and everyone had to join in together or occupy themselves with reading or playing cards etc. Little shop and off licence at the bottom of the road (seaside end) and a Co-op nearby for provisions. 5 mins walk. Big tesco at the top of the road and a bakery, cafes, Costa Coffee, charity shops, jewellers and a post office. 10 mins walk. We booked parking through an app (YourParkingSpace) but you can park on the road after 8pm until 8am, finding a space however might be tricky. The vendor was very clear with their communication and kept in touch from the day of booking until the day after our stay. Great communication and well informed, made the effort to go through extra mile. They recommended a cafe/bakery at the bottom of the road and we visited and spent £50 on breakfast!! It was absolutely delicious 😁 though I couldn’t do that every day! Fabulous visit. Many thanks.

The only concern I had was with the windows (which I think are original or possibly replacement for Victorian windows) as being wooden frames they didn’t have an option to lock them in a part open position. If you stayed here with inquisitive young children who might climb then it could be problematic, especially as the apartment is on the top floor. However there is plenty of space in the kitchen/diner/lounge so there is space for children to be in the same area as parents who were cooking etc. so they don’t need to be in another room.
