The Old Foundry

The apartment was very clean and lovely to stay in, the location was perfect for us to explore the local areas. The host was brilliant with keeping us up to date with information and was really accommodating to allow us to leave a bit later and to park in the area whilst we visiting the town centre.

Driving and parking instructions weren't the most clear, however I did find the right spot in the end and it was very helpful these were provided by the hosts. Facilities were good. The use of the washing machine and clothes dryer was a god send for my trip! (There was no laundry detergent however so guests may need to bring their own or be prepared to buy some). And having a kitchen with toaster, over etc was a great help. Hosts provided info on local restaurants, shops, and tips which was really great. The old charm of the building is lovely, and they stated they had the original windows and to be careful with them which I liked.

It was not very clean. It had not been hoovered very well, or at all. There were clean sheets and towels, and the bathroom was clean, but every surface needed dusted and stray hairs removed. The kettle needed a good descaling too. Also stated guests are to take bins out before check-out.

Good location, well equipped, clean and nice decoration/atmosphere. Close to town.

Better light in bathroom for shaving, bed a little uncomfortable and pillows quite hard.

2 minutes from the high street, had parking, apartment had everything we needed

Well appointed in a quiet location with easy access to Wallingford.

Parking for a second car was tight as it is located in a residengial area. The property has 1 designated parking place.

It was a perfect stay ; gorgeous place and easy access to Wallingford and all the restaurants and facilities . Really felt like a home from home and will definitely stay again soon

The little details such as a selection of tea and coffee and lavender bags in the draws are a really nice touch.

The foyer isn’t very attractive, I realise this isn’t just about your accommodation but it doesn’t give a good first impression.
