"Would stay again and def recommend!"

10.0

Comfy beds, great location, beautifully decorated. Ruby was super helpful and checked in during the stay. There were extras in the house which was a lovely touch. We also asked for a slightly earlier check in which was happily accommodated. Wifi and heating were excellent. Loved the autumnal decorations.

Bin instructions were a little long and detailed. No milk.

"Perfect base for a fab cultural city break in the most beautiful part of Bath."

10.0

Very centrally located tiny but perfectly configured house. The interior design was gorgeous and made us feel we were living in a Jane Austen novel. The colours and furnishings were beautiful and we really appreciated the details such as the high quality bedding, artworks, fresh flowers, soaps and biscuits.

Nothing at all. Even Parking in the nearby Waitrose car park was quite convenient and affordable for a weekend stay

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the centre and main attractions. Cottage beautifully decorated with all key amenities. Hosts very attentive and helpful at all times.

Would probably suggest that more instuctions provided in relation to use of the key collection device.

"Perfect cosy retreat."

Just Perfect We spent 3 days in beautiful Bath for the half term holidays. We booked the delightful Penny Cottage initially because it was close to the City centre, when we arrived it was so much more than the perfect location. It was home from home. As we approached the little cottage on the hill, we were met by our host Ruby, who welcomed us and answered any questions we might have. We were also thrilled to find a few extra goodies she had left for us in the cupboard and fridge, especially after a long drive. On settling in, we called it home for the next few days. The cottage is immaculate and decorated impeccably. Such thought and detail has been put into each and every room. In fact it has given us some ideas and inspiration of colour in our own home. There is EVERYTHING you could want for on your stay. If you have forgotten something, honestly do not worry, it’s there…even ear plugs for a noisy snorer! We cooked the first night of our stay and the kitchen was super prepared with pots, pans, garlic press you name it. In the evening with our 10 year old Son before bed we would have a game of scrabble which was to be found in the cupboard with many other games. It really gave us the fun family time we so needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had a restful nights sleep each night. The rear of the property there is a small courtyard where in the nice weather could sit and have morning coffee. Everything about our stay was just wonderful, and if like us you want a few days of cosiness but in the City Centre of Bath then you have found your place. We cannot recommend Penny Cottage highly enough. We will be back!

"An awesome place - probably the best holiday rental we have ever stayed in!"

10.0

We loved everything about this house - it really is a cute Georgian cottage! It felt like we were stepping in to the set of a period drama. The cottage is immaculately presented - Ruby has a great eye for detail and has thought of everything - even a packet of coffee and other goodies waiting for our arrival. The great location made everything super accessible, being a short walk from the centre of historic Bath.

The only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer (or just move in permanently!).
