Absolutely bliss! Thoughtfully decorated and furnished bolthole in a heavenly part of the coast.

It was all lovely

Looked authentic from the outside and was in a beautiful location.

Was nowhere near up to my standards in cleanliness, actually probably not the average persons cleanliness expectations and wasn’t fully equipped. Fridge was missing basic compartments for milk and juices to stand upright, therefore we kept them outside. Which is fine in the winter but not sustainable in the spring/summer. Freezer was broken and defrosted my food. Not many shops near to replenish, especially given the time of year. Unfortunately I cannot give much more away than this as my Husbands Electrical business’s reputation has been threatened by the host if I give any less than a 10. I would not have booked this property if previous guests had been allowed to review this property honestly. I am under no illusion that they have been faced with similar shocking messages that I have received. The reviews do not match the property itself. I have the whole conversation screen shot in black and white from the first concerns I raised with the host on arrival to this morning and will not allow anyone to silence me. I did not intend on reviewing this property in great detail until the message I received on my journey home. I would have given it a basic review.

What a gorgeous find!!! We had the most beautiful time away as a family (8 adults and a baby). The living room was our hub for the weekend and it was spacious, homely, comfy and the fire a real treat. All the bedrooms were a great size and the beds super comfy, one couple on the sofa bed which they said was reasonably comfy for a night. The bathroom ideal and the kitchen fully equipped for Dad cooking a Sunday roast! Location was amazing, very close to coastal paths, one which took us towards the lighthouse and we had the gift of seeing seals and their pups. Also to mention, our hosts were very quick to answer any questions and help which was fantastic. Thank you so much for one of the best stays I’ve had.

The smallest of issues, the induction hob was slightly temperamental with various pans not working with it.

The location was excellent. The property was very homely and comfortable. Decent wifi.

The bathroom was dated compared to the rest of the the house and the shower pressure and controls were not great.

The cottage was lovely, well supplied and furnished and very comfortable. The location was simply stunning--a few steps outside and you are immediately greeted with a stunning sea view.

No complaints at all.
