Very slow and temperamental wi-fi = grumpy kids Double bed could do with a new mattress but saying that I did sleep better than I thought I would.

Location is excellent for Westward Ho! beach and the park has some lovely views across the bay. You can join in with entertainment on the park (passes available from the park reception). Accommodation clean and comfortable. Nice to stay in a chalet with a good range of cooking utensils and nice touches for your comfort. We would love to stay again, thank you!

Owners made contact to ensure we had all necessary info about check in, facilities etc. Check in was straightforward and contactless with a key safe. Coastal location. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. Free and plentiful parking.

The cabin is quite run down and in need of a refurb. We were provided with a dehumidifer and warned that the cabin became damp in the winter, as such there was evidence of mould around the windows, on the curtains and even in a kitchen cupboard which was used to store cooking utensils. We were told that linen and towels were provided, however, only hand towels were supplied and the bedding on the main duvet and pillow was a scratchy fleece material. The main bed squeaked at every movement which woke us up throughout the night. The property states that swimming facilties are available but these and all other entertainment is only available at an additional cost when you purchase a pass on arrival. The light in the spare room doesn't work and appears related to a circuit issue as opposed to a blown lightbulb.

The Chalet was lovely, just what we needed for a weekend away. The host was really nice and sent me messages with suggested places to go around the area too. It was out of season so lovely and peaceful too.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The overall smell of mould which I guess is caused by the long winter period without people in the property.

Great location and weather was good. Big shower for easy access to get in and out of. Good facilities

Bed was uncomfortable. Wasnt informed that there was going to be a power cut for 2 days of our stay from 8am to 4pm, so we had to leave the chalet as there was no facilities to use, chalet was cold until the power came back on.
