"Little value for money"

Location was good and staff was very friendly. They went the extra mile moving us to a different cabin as we were expecting a bunk bed based on pictures. Nice community area with games.

Cabin was a bit worn out. Couch needs replacement, bedsheets had holes in it and aircon was old & noisy. It seemed that cabin had not been properly cleaned for a long time and was only superficially cleaned. They could have invested a bit more in partition between the cabins to allow for a nicer outdoor seating area. Overall little value for money especially considering a relatively steep price.

Location is excellent, general store has choices, gas station is convenient. The kichen is full equipped and functional.

In our booking, the room shows a bunk bed but when we got there it was the futon bed that I d like to avoid. A teen and a young adult didnt like it. Bed is also very soft. Not our type

"Nice location but fire safety needs to be a priority."

Check in clerk was friendly. Location was close to Yosemite National Park entrance.

We returned on the 2nd night to find the unit filled with campfire smoke which the AC unit pulled into the unit. The smoke detector was dirty/dusty and not functioning. Not willing to stay in a unit with a non-functioning smoke detector and with the office closed for the night, we departed using the overnight key drop. We contacted the host using the email provided on the check in documents asking for a refund. 72 hours later, no response. We also contacted the host using the booking.com site. They did not address our request, but asked us to fill out a survey and trip review. We did both.
