The bed was INSANELY comfortable. Duvet on the warm side for someone who runs hot but window open, provided fan on, was lovely. Slept very well. Decor was unique, really well done. Not too much, not too little. The provided kitchen facilities are great. Fridge, kettle, coffee machine, microwave, toaster. Some have complained there isn't an oven/hob but when you see the space you'll understand! The shower is big, spacious, great pressure. Carpets throughout are comfortable to walk on and clean (get used to taking your shoes off on the welcome mat) Location geographically is incredible. A short drive (and you will want to drive) from many places. Plenty to do and see. Some of it only 10 mins away. We did so much in such a short time thanks to this! In terms of immediate location, the small converted workshop (history of which, provided with the welcome manual, I found fascinating as I work with my hands) is located adjacent to the host's residence, with its own private entryway. Coded entry was nice and easy. Size of the space is perfect for a solo traveller or couple. We could go on, but.. if you're considering it, book this place. Couldn't have asked for better for our trip, and you will be hard pressed to get better value in the area.

The cottage and the hosts were both excellent

The friendly, couldn't do enough yet stand-off welcome, the decor (beautiful, spotless and so tasteful), the facilities (really superb shower, coffee machine, TV especially), the lovely extra touches (prosecco, biscuits, popcorn, expensive toiletries), the pets - friendly dog, cat, sparrows and hens (lovely parting gift of freshly laid eggs; thank you!), easy access to Snowdonia and Anglesey, comfy bed, nice little patio to eat out at (we had great weather).

Not an issue for us, but we hadn't read between the lines and didn't realise there would be no cooker other than a microwave. Anyone taking ready meals to cook might find themselves struggling. However, we were loaned a toaster immediately we mentioned it, so I imagine our hosts would be more than happy to help anyone in a similar position. Had the weather been bad, perhaps the room might have felt a bit small.

Awesome, cozy, little nest tucked away in a great location for accessing Snowdonia. Excellent facilities and Neil is super welcoming and accommodating host who made our brief stay exceptional. Thanks!
