The location is perfect for all planning purposes.

The staff were very friendly, but unfortunately not reliable when it came to providing basic necessities. For example, there were three of us staying in the apartment, but we were only given one access card. We requested an additional card upon arrival, yet despite following up during our three-night stay, we never received it.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience at Capital White Mschief in Nairobi, Kenya From the outset, the host was dishonest about several aspects of the property and the terms of our agreement. Specifically: • The listing advertised a fully equipped kitchen, but upon arrival, many appliances were non-functional. The kettle kept tripping the mains and we had to get that exchanged • On arrival the houselkeeping staff had not even completed cleaning the apartment, and they had no towels and were busy washing the towels used by previous occupants. • We were promised 2 key cards, and only received one for the whole stay. Note we were a group of 5 ladies staying at this property and this in itself was an inconvenice to us all. • The host has now reverted back saying they will deduct $48 from our deposit, for a broken wine glass, lid missing on a salt shaker and a missing towel. We have requsted evidence of the items claimed as brokwn or missing, but nothing has been sent. This dishonesty greatly impacted the experience of our stay, causing disappointment. As a paying guest, I expected transparency and truthful information, which was not delivered. I kindly request that Booking.com to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to address this situation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Really nice and spacious penthouse. Looks just like the photos. The location is superb.

We had come with a group of colleagues seeking to getaway and spark some creativity and we got a chance to do that. It’s a beautiful duplex apartment high up with a beautiful view at night. The breeze is so refreshing. We loved it! Was worth every coin spent!

The card access is a bit inconveniencing when you have other guests coming by as you have to go all the way down to the ground floor to be able to place the card in the lift to come back up with them to the penthouse.

The location was perfect and they had a member of staff waiting to take me to the apartment. The flat is beautiful and nicely decorated. Just like the pictures on booking.com. This is also a bonus.

Lack of transparency with charges not stated on Booking.com. They charge you to clean the flat which I think is disgusting. I have used Air bnbs in so many countries including Kenya and I have never been asked to pay a separate cleaning fee. This people charge you $31 daily if u want your apartment cleaned. Oh and they charge you $5 if u want fresh towels. You call to express concern about this charges and you are giving the Run around. All you get back from them- oh this person will get back to you shortly!! Even though the place is beautiful and centrally located, I would not be going back. Being charged for cleaning is a complete Rip off and for them not to be transparent about on Booking.com is shameful!!!

The place is well located and the flat is good.

YourHost provides a painful check in experience and took our deposit as they couldn’t find objects in the flat - a blender we’ve never seen either and few others things than we’re not even sure what they talk about. Very inappropriate behaviour and impossible to chat with them since then, this is robbery. I recommend to book at CapitalM with other providers, like BednBeyond who have an easy check-in process and do not take additional security deposits that they then do not refund.
