The House: Peterstone Court means a lot to many people; relaxing spa days to meals shared in great company and memorable stays, ours is a historically significant house, that has stood proudly within the area for many years. Set within the small hamlet of Llanhamlach, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Peterstone is in a stunning location, with picture postcard views and beautiful grounds. Our Rooms: The eight bedrooms in the main house are large and cozy, with indulgent fabrics, soft furnishings, and luxurious beds; All offer wonderful views, many of which highlight the surrounding countryside and mountains, and each one is totally unique. Our four contemporary and airy duplex loft rooms can be found in the converted stables; these are ideal for dog lovers, cyclists and walkers. Food with a view: As a restaurant with rooms, we provide honest, fresh local food, comfort, and a caring team. The kitchen is the heart of the house, and our team of chefs looks forward to feeding and delighting all the guests that come to stay or dine with us. Our Spa: Our small but perfectly fitting vaulted cellars have been transformed from their orchard and storage roots to become spa spaces that are close to the earth, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Join us and experience a Holistic approach to well-being. For safety reasons, children under 16 are not permitted in the gym area. The halfboard rate includes a maximum food allowance of GBP 25 per person per night. A deposit may be required at the property.

The bed was a dome, so my partner and i kept rolling to the edges of the bed.. The radiator was on full blast.. and being the top floor.. the heat was unbearable...we had to open windows but then the mosquitos entered...so we had to close them.. Then on departure, we were asked to pay a random bill instead of our own... and now being hassled to pay our outstanding bill.

"Really nice, not a 5-star level"

Sweet hotel, beautiful garden and surroundings, very nice breakfast

Not at the level of 5 star, maybe 4. The main radiator in our room wasn't working and the two others were on timer we couldn't control. Eventually we were not cold but it's a pity. The staff offered an electrical radiator instead (we didn't need). The spa is small but clean, closes at 18:00 so we only made it once. We found the bed not comfortable enough but it wasn't too bad and we slept well

Breakfast, and more specifically the lady who waited on us - she was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was explained clearly and with a positive, up-beat attitude.

Initial reception. We appreciate the venue was very busy (mother's day) but reception was un-manned, and when somebody did finally come they gave a very rushed mini tour to show us our bedroom and where breakfast would be served, but that was it. No small talk or pleasantries. We didn't feel particularly welcomed, more of an inconvenience!

I have stayed here several times and cannot fault the location, facilities and of course, the wonderful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and my evening meal and breakfast were delicious.
