The terrace was very nice, staff was friendly and helpful, location was great. The fact that it’s in front of central station is super convenient. Easy to get from airport and easy to get to nearby cities such as Cefalù.

Very near the station, very quiet, good cafe underneath.

At busy times the lift was very slow to arrive. The fridge was too small.

Very close to the train station and the bus station which makes it very convenient for traveling outside Palermo.

The location is great. Right next to the train station (1 min). Super soundproofing, so traffic and trains can't be heard. A good starting point to see the city or the island by train. Friendly staff and nice clean rooms. The view from the terrace is directly on the city and the railway station.

The room is spacious and the bathroom modern. A small buffet breakfast was included. There is a cafe at the property, a restaurant and shops close by.

The room was beside the elevator and there was a lot of noise from the corridor. It's located a little outside the centre beside the central train station in a more rural part of the city. Not for the faint hearted.

Very nice room with lovely terrace. Reception and staff at breakfast excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room nice and quiet (other than one night when school children on school trip staying and very noisy)

The noise from the school trip until 2.30am. The reception staff spoke with the teacher and there was little noise the following night. Not the fault of the hotel (failure of the teacher)

Horrible experience.

Very noisy, impossible to sleep. The insonorisation doesn’t exist. You can hear the other guests, the use of the toilette, the TV, the slamming of doors, the clients shouting somewhere. And that constant machine (ventilation?) noise, rumbling and shakes that goes on and off. Impossible to sleep. The staff is not friendly at all. I had a very bad experience. Book somewhere else.

I had read the reviews of the hotel and happened to see one that said to search for 55 Aira hotel, we drove around the little square looking for the hotel and had even gone into 55 Aria hotel, but as the reception staffs English was not very good, they did not understand that we had booked a room at the Suite El Centro and it was only when I showed my booking that they were able to direct us to our room. The room was so spacious, clean, beautiful balcony with a view of Palermo and the location was very good if you want to travel around with train and was only a 10 minute walk away from the main via Roma and Maquedo. We travelled two adults and one child and the room was more than sufficient the sofa bed seemed like a king size bed. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was amazing. Would love to go back one day and stay there again.

The only negatives were the Wi-Fi in the room was not very strong and only managed to see the password on the mini fridge menu on our second day. The other negative was breakfast, which I believe is in the Aria hotel, dining room. Breakfast was until 10 am on our first day we were in the breakfast room at 9:23 and it looked like a bomb has hit it. We were given three croissants, there were half eaten cakes and dirty plates all along the buffet area and spilt coffee on the floor. There was nothing visible that we could eat for breakfast apart from cake so we left and didn’t return on the other two mornings, We stayed at the hotel.

Excellent location, literally across from bus and train station- but no noise. Bar/ restaurant next door. Plenty of eating places nearby and about 15mins walk to the historic centre. Staff at front desk very helpful and friendly. Air conditioning was great . Large, comfortable room/ bed. Clean and modern. Shower was great.

Toiletries/ toilet paper/ clean towels not always provided/ replaced on a daily basis- however staff downstairs provided them when asked. The location of hotel was not clear on address provided. It is actually called 55 Aira Hotels which we only found out by looking at previous reviews. Lucky we did else we may not have found the hotel!
