Lovely Studio in the Historic Center of Ortigia

The host communicated very helpfully and quickly, and there was no problem with check-in or check-out. I was really glad about sooner check-in. :) The washing machine and free tablet were very useful! Wifi worked very good. Bed was super comfortable. Accomodation was equipped good but something weren't in the best clean condition (kitchen stuff).

I personally would not choose this accommodation again for several reasons: The apartment is very damp, and there were not many ways to ventilate, so there was a persistent smell of "dampness." I knew that the accommodation was located on a street with restaurants, and noise generally doesn’t bother me (restaurants were ok). However, the garbage trucks passing by in the early morning hours (around 2-3 AM) made such a loud noise that I couldn’t sleep through the night even once. The apartment is really very dark (the photos in the listing are misleading), and the only daylight that can come in is from the shutters around the door, so if you want a bit more light, you have to be on display for the whole street. Another negative aspect I noticed was the cleanliness. At first glance, it seemed clean, but details like rust in the shower corner, poorly washed dishes and kitchen items, and a fan near the bed full of dust were off-putting. Moreover, the air conditioning did not work very well; it didn’t look like a standard air conditioner, and I could barely feel its effect. Subjectively, I did not enjoy the accommodation because I intended to work on my PC during the day, but due to the above-mentioned points, I rather delayed returning to the apartment. It really depends on your expectations. The fact that something didn’t suit me doesn’t automatically mean it’s negative for everyone. In the same price range, I had accommodation in Ortigia that I rated 10/10, so I am also comparing based on my own personal experience. If the apartment had been in a lower price range, I might have overlooked some of the issues.

It was so so so cute and aesthetically pleasing, perfect for a girl’s trip! We spoke all night and the apartment is super duper memorable for us. The restaurant and streets outside are so beautiful too. (Ahh I wish I could add vids I took of the place but it’s photos only) Kind of the owners to keep drinking water in the fridge for us on the first day too.

I think the garbage throwing days inconvenienced a bit because we had to keep trash in the house for so long.

For the size of the place it's well decorated and really good location.

The fact that there's a Restaurant right in front of the doorstep makes it noisy specifically at night time when they collect the rubbish.
