"Convenient and cosy."

I liked that the property was close to the venue that I was attending during my stay and it's only a few minutes walk to the seafront and the town. I liked that the property seemed recently refurbished so everything was fresh and new, decorated nicely and well presented. Everything was lovely and clean and it is equipped with everything you need. I would suggest you take some hand wash and toilet roll with you though. The WIFI was great so if you need to work while you are there it's not a problem.

We had trouble locating the property, it's down an alleyway which is easy to miss, I tried calling the host but no reply, we did eventually find it. The parking is a space in the front garden, it's big enough for a small car, we struggled to get the whole car on the space so the front was hanging into the road, although this didn't cause any problems. Key safe on wall so no problems collecting the key. The dog next door barks a lot when it's owners are out. The front bedroom window does not close properly, tried to lock out the noise coming from the surrounding houses and pubs as it was keeping our granddaughter awake, the window does not fully close. Also, the mattress in the front bedroom could do with replacing, it sagged on one side and was only really suitable for a child, 2 adults would be really uncomfortable on it. No cold water coming from the tap in the bathroom sink, had to use the hot tap to brush teeth etc. Really annoying squeaky floorboard right beside the kitchen door, you can actually feel your foot sink into it when you stand on it and it's really unavoidable! A 2 seater sofa for 3 of us was not really ideal, one of us had to sit on a dining chair in the evenings until bedtime. I would have mentioned these things to the host had they answered the phone or my text messages, that for me is the biggest thing, I think a good host should at least make contact with guests to see if everything is ok, not just the automated message from the Booking.com system.
