Clean and peaceful

Cold but once the heating was on it was great

The location was perfect for our family to attend a function in the locality. The bedrooms were tired and dated but there was fresh bedding on the beds which was the only reason we decided to stay as it was for only 1 night. There was also fresh towels available. Wi fi was available and good.

The house was listed as luxury. However we found the accomodation to be inadequate and in poor state of repair. The pictures shown showed adequate accomodation on the website, however when we arrived the communal area downstairs was a conservstory cramped with additional unused furniture making the area feel like a storage area rather than a relaxing space . (There was a lounge area but this was not available and listed as a storage area). The kitchen area was poorly maintained and in need of a thorough deep clean..it was very unhygeinic. On arrival there was a dirty kitchen sink drainer piled full of washed pots that required re washing, there was part used out of date foods in the cupboards, fridge and freezer . The cooker , hob, fridge and freezer were all very dirty and require thorough cleaning. ( We had planned to prepare our breakfast but it just wasnt suitable to prepare or cook food in at the time of our stay) . The first bedroom has a window that doest fully close. The only available shower room with 1 toilet was downstairs and it requires thorough deep clean before being let out to guests .There is mould to the tiling around the bath and there was part used toiletries and paraphanalia left from previous guests. The hallway area had a shoe store available however it contained someones used footwear and clothing.

The location was ideal for me

Getting the keys was a problem.

It was clean and I received clear instructions before arrivinh

The property is spacious in terms of dining. The property is clean and I make sure the property is left the same way.

The bed in the middle room is a little bit uncomfortable for me otherwise I would have given it 10 instead of 9.
