Hedgehog Cottage with garden in Bronte village!

This was an amazing little cottage with everything we needed.The kitchen was well equipt which made food prep simple. The bed was really comfortable and everything was very clean. The cottage is in the heart of the main street with all its eateries and lovely independant shops. And is also close to beautifull hill walks. The communication from the owner was great.We even found a fresh home made sponge cake when we arrived. We would definatly return and would reccomend.

The wifi info was unreadable. The code numbers have worn away so unable to connect. This didnt bother us but may be an issue for some. The garden area looked a little tired and the decking could do with a clean up and repaint. That being said we completely understand the late summer weather caught us all off gaurd a little 27°c plus. I think we all thought the summer was over. I have not reduced our grading for this reason.

Highly recommend- A Beautiful character period cottage right in town centre everything on your doorstep, very clean, lovely comfy beds pillows, well equipped kitchen, beautiful garden, dog friendly, easy to contact host and the host left an amazing home baked cake.

Liked all of it, though would have been better if a few teabags sugar milk left though there was coffee, cooking oil and can’t really complain as our host made as an amazing home baked Victoria sponge cake. Thankyou so much. Pans ect were good but small frying pain was very scratched surface and only other minor issue slight damp smell in bathroom but this is a very old cottage and aroma humidifiers in the bathroom which helped

I didn't have breakfast in the cottage..but the home made cake left for me was delicious. The location is perfect..right in the village yet still so quiet...fabulous. Everything is right literally on the doorstep from amazing independent little shops to the moors five mins away...and lots of Bronte history to look at too...its a fabulous little cottage to stay at. The dogs loved the tiered garden to run around in and its 100% secure

Great location very close to Parsonage, pubs and restaurants. Good walks straight from the house. The house was really clean and comfortable with everything we needed and the perfect size for two adults, a teenager and dog

I think purely due to the type of cottage & it’s location & the fact that our stay was at the beginning of the season the sink /drains had an unpleasant smell.

The location is PERFECT! Value for money. Nice decor. Dog friendly. Cake on arrival.

Literally the ONLY thing that wasn't great was the bathroom and this really isn't their fault. The way the cottage is built sees the front of the property partly underground and there is an issue with damp in the bathroom as you enter from the road. The smell was really quite overwhelming and the extraction isnt great. We did all we could to keep it warm and ventilated but condensation soon built up and mould quickly followed. Its a shame because everything else was perfect.. It may not be a problem in warmer weather!?
