Mellieha Penthouse with pool and view by Homely

The apartment was beautifully clean and spacious with high quality furnishings, kitchen wear, bathrooms and excellent decor! The pool is very small and we dd not use it as it was not possible to swim in it. However, if you just want to cool off then it is perfectly adequate. The access to the town was really good by foot and took less than 10 minutes to the main street, and there was a choice of eateries, supermarkets, and so on available. The low cost bus service around Malta with a standard 2euro fare to anywhere was great value, and we certainly did not need a rental car as a result. Obviously there are no language issues as everybody speaks good English!

The position of the property overlooked some waste ground which wasn't great but also was not a problem! However, there was a building refurbishment approx. 50m away which started up at 07.30 each day other than Sunday with jack hammers, drills, large lorries, loading and unloading with all of the accompanying site noise which was very tiresome, though I suspect that this is only valid for now as I am sure that it is not a permanent issue for the venue. With out this issue we would be rating the property as excellent, and we would definitely consider staying there again!
