Traveler's Haven Hostel at Colombo Intl Airport

Perfect place!

Stayed here for a night before our flight. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and had everything you need. Only 10 minutes to the airport meant it was very useful. The pillows are quite thick, and were a bit awkward to sleep on.

If you are looking for a quiet place near the airport on your trip to Sri Lanka, then I can highly recommend Traveler's Haven. Of all the hotels I visited, this was the most special. It is an oasis, a beautifully designed place. With a yoga/chill platform, kitchen, beautiful garden, comfortable beds and clean showers and dorms - and the price-performance ratio is top! Nalin is a great host, very friendly and puts a lot of heart and soul into his hostel. I can highly recommend this accommodation! Thank you very much Nalin!!! Comfortable beds + very clean dorm rooms. The owner and other staff were so kind and accommodating. Great location if you want to be near the airport.

The aircon in the room was super cold, and they only give you one thin piece of linen to sleep under. I eventually got up at 3am to wake up the manager to adjust the setting as the aircon remote is not in the room. The main light in the dorm in on a motion sensor, which means if anyone moves then the bright light goes on - it's really not practical if someone gets up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom or something, it wakes up the whole room. The showers are cold, dirty and lacks any hangers to hang your change of clothes. I will not come back here nor recommend this to other people.
