L'Incanto del Borgo Antico- Locazione Turistica

A perfect week in a lovely little apartment in Bari Vecchia. Our hosts were extremely helpful, even coming to rescue us when we got lost on first trying to find the apartment. We were welcomed with a bottle of local wine! Everything was bright and clean, the location steps from attractions and many restaurants. The hosts also provided great suggestions for sightseeing , dining., and excursions. We'd love to visit again. Do note there are about 70 steps up to the apartment, which we actually appreciated as a mini cardio.

Property in amazing location in old town. Near shops bars and restaurants - that were open in the off season! Famous gelato at the end of the laneway. Room well appointed with everything you need, secure. Bed comfortable. Balcony was nice. 15 mins walk up main shopping mall to reach apartment. Flat and east walk. Located near tourist info point which was handy. Hosts were amazing. Truly kind and considerate and helpful and even booked us dinner reservations at a very popular restaurant. Would definitely stay again. It’s 65 steps up to the apartment but let’s face it, you need the exercise to burn off all that amazing puglian food and wine!

Be careful with shower time. It’s a small tank.

Apartment is located in the historic centre and very convenient to cafes and restaurants. The host was very helpful and gave us information for interesting places to visit.

It was central, located in the old town

There was no parking anywhere near. Use park and ride zone a and walk from bus stop. Apartment up 60 steep stairs on 3rd floor, no lift. Children played football on roof terrace directly above the apartment until 10pm. The kitchen was very poorly provided for, 2 large pans and small elec hob so only 1 pan could be used at a time. Automatic electric door system OK until the powercut when we couldn't get out, not good in an emergency!

We arrived early and asked Sabino if we could get our room sooner than the check-in time and he rearranged what he was doing to meet us. The location was exceptional. We had two heavy suitcases and our host Sabino insisted on carrying mine up. My partner carried his own up. The breakfast was continental style which was perfect. Sabino and Valeria were amazingly helpful with all aspects of our stay. They made recommendations for places to visit, eat at and see with links to addresses and how to travel there. We were lucky to meet the whole family while we were exploring on one of our evening walks. I cannot recommend them highly enough

Only the fact that we had to walk to the third floor but we knew this before we booked. And the fact that we didn’t book a longer stay there 🙂

Lovely, light-filled, and spacious apartment in the most charming area. Wonderful to wander around and sample local food. The bed and bedding are of great quality and very comfortable, and the area is quiet to ensure good rest. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, and go out of their way to help.

The bathroom is not great but it seems this would mostly be the case with all apartments in such an authentic and gorgeous area. You can use the adjacent room for extra dressing and makeup space.
